Liver was highly prized among early hunter-gatherers who preferred it over muscle meat. They regarded liver as a source of strength and believed that it possessed superior healing powers.

Gram for gram, liver is nature's most nutrient-dense food. It contains 25 vitamins and 92 minerals, High in pre-formed vitamin A (retinol)*, B12 for energy, CoQ10, choline, folate, hyaluronic acid and bioavailable heme iron. Provides all the fat soluble vitamins (A, D, K & E) in highly usable forms, and meaningful amounts of copper, zinc and chromium.

Liver boasts much more nutrients than regular meat. It contains 710 times more Vitamin A, and 50 times more Vitamin B12 and folate than meat.

And, unlike isolated nutrients found in other supplements you get the whole entourage that makes liver amazing for you.

It is Ketogenic friendly, paleo friendly, primal friendly and helps support your energy demands for an active lifestyle, balance your hormones, regulate your blood sugar and thyroid function, protect your bones and eyesight, quench inflammation, and support your hair, nails and skin.

Why grass-fed and not grain-fed?

Because that is the appropriate diet for a cow. They are ruminants, a type of animals with multiple stomachs, that are built to eat GRASS and process the nutrition offered in that GRASS. Research shows that grass-fed grass-finished beef is more nutritious than grain-fed beef.

Why grass-finished?

The greater the percentage of the cattle’s diet that comes from grass, the more optimal the ratio of Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids in the beef. Organic grass-fed grass-finished beef generally has a ratio of 2:1, in contrast to primarily grain-fed beef, which can be as high as 20:1 (making grain-fed beef a source of inflammation). Grass-finished guarantees the cattle were not fed grains at any stage.
